Jacob’s Well was the very first organization to begin and graduate our incubator. Their growth over the last 7 years has not matched the exact dream we and the founder Mark Thornton thought up on a front porch in the early spring of 2009 but it is so much better than we imaged. Last year Jacob’s Well raised over $200,000 in support all from individuals. With 3 locations in Lincoln, Nebraska, a bi-monthly food distribution, worship services, outreach to Haiti and an after school program it’s no wonder everyone in their neighborhood knows the “Jacob’s Well House”. In 2016 we are helping to lead a reorganization and scale up; looking to support future growth and more capacity to help individual when they need it, where they need it. The future will hold big things for this partnership and we are committed to rolling up our sleeves to see that a long term different can be made.
